55 Thompson is a brand new luxury apartment rental building situated on the cusp of Soho and Tribeca. The building is set for Fall 2010 occupancy, and promises loft like living, thanks to high ceilings, gas-burning fireplaces and private balconies. Not much else has been released about the building – except that interested parties need to join the list for more information. One tidbit that has been leaked is in regards to the price – these will be some expensive rental units. With one-bedrooms starting at $6,500 a month, two-bedrooms at $12,000, and three-bedrooms at $18,000/month, 55 Thompson is marketing itself toward the big spenders.
